Antie Em had very kindly found the following census for me...
50 Willow St, Bradford
George TAYLOR(51) manager grocer shop..b. Hartlepool, wife Elizabeth(50) b. Whitby..married 32 years, boarders Ida CROWTHER (22) single teacher..b.Nelson, Lancs,, & Hilda BROWN (19) typist dyers office..b.Bradford, Yorks.
My husband took a look at this though and is not 100% sure I have the right Hilda Brown.
He thinks that by 1911 Hilda was a telephonist at the Bradford Exchange (she was supposed to be one of the first)... that's how she met her husband... he first spoke to her on the phone!!)
He also understood that she lived in Manningham. (This doesn't look to be too far away from Willow Street on the map but I don't know whether close enough to be classifed as Manningham?
Could someone please have a look to see if there are any Hilda BROWNs in Manningham... if not then I may have the right one anyway?
Many Thanks again
