I've got a whole family of Shorters I'd like looked up if anyone is feeling particularly generous:
James Shorter (b 1835, Tonbridge) married to Victoria (née Southgate b 1840, S.Pancras). In 1891 they were living at Wood side, Shepherds Hill, Hornsey.
A son, Arthur James Shorter(b 1863, Islington) married (1888, West Ham) to Alice (possibly Ann) Emily aka "Kitty" (née Barralet, b 1865, Holborn). I don't have them in 1891.
A son, Herbert Sidney Shorter (b 1864/5) married (1888, Hitchin) to Rosa Ann (née Fisher, b 1865 inferred from age at death). I don't have them in 1891 either.
A daughter, Grace Agnes Shorter (b 1868, Peakirk, Northants) unmarried. In 1891 she was living at Wood side, Shepherds Hill, Hornsey.
A daughter, Victoria Lallie Shorter (b 1869, Hornsey) unmarried. In 1891 she was living at Wood side, Shepherds Hill, Hornsey.
A son, Ernest Edwin Shorter (b 1872, Highgate) married (1896, Croydon) to Lydia Grace (née Barralet, b 1874, West Ham). In 1891 he was living at Wood side, Shepherds Hill, Hornsey.
A daughter Amy (Ann) Margaret Shorter (b 1874, Highgate). Thanks to graingers14 I have her on the 1901 census living in Lowestoft, Suffolk and unmarried in 1928.
A daughter, Gertrude Evelyn(e) Shorter (b 1879, Highgate) married (1900, Croydon) to Ernest F Quittenton (b 1872, Croydon). In 1891 she was living at Wood side, Shepherds Hill, Hornsey.
A daughter, Kathleen Mabel Shorter (b 1882, Highgate). In 1891 she was living at Wood side, Shepherds Hill, Hornsey. Thanks to graingers14 I have her unmarried in 1928.

If there are reference numbers with the listings I'd appreciate them included. Thank you all so much.

Can't find James or Victoria 1n 1911....

Brilliant, thanks sparkstopper. I think the niece in the 1911 census is probably a Barralet but I'd need rosieb to confirm that.
