Of all the Things!

As if...
when you just go to sit and relax with a lovely cold G&T the ice maker in the fridge freezer wont put any ice out!
Tried cubed and crushed, just nothing but a noise
So you have to pull the thing apart and put the solid ice in a plastic bag and bash it on the floor to break the clumps up!
Spoils the effect of sitting and relaxing!

But now I have G&T with smashed on the floor ice

Haven't got an ice maker but buy bags of ice, which sees me, on occasions, like last night, bashing the bag against any solid object.

Look out Hubby!!
I'd decided I would make a jug of Pimms, as I'd been given a bottle. Got all the lovely fruit and the ice ready, then misread the instruction. I put 3 parts Pimms, to one part Lemonade.

I don't remember eating my dinner and had to go to bed early. Feeling rough this morning. If I'd read it was 25% proof, I might have been more careful but I thought it was only 8%.

Not surprised Lulu - really need more lemonade. I love Pimms - it only tastes the same if you're sitting outside in the sunshine though.

I know what you mean, I tend to avoid hangovers for that reason! It's a bit like when I have a 16 hour shift at work, the day after is mostly a lost day too!

I work from home, for my Husband. I told him this morning, I'm calling in sick. He said he wanted a Doctor's note.

Don't you only need those after 3 or 4 days?

That's similar to what I told him. Seeing as I do all his invoicing and also pay mine own wages, he doesn't stand a chance of not paying me for a lost day.

Do you pay his wages too
He'll have to watch his step if you do
