We loose the occasional tourist to the Crocodiles. Doesn't help when they get this close!

Brutus is 5.5 meters in size and lost his front right leg to a shark.
Glad to see he knows what it is like to be on somebody's menu.

I don't think a saltwater croc would be quick enough to eat a Great White shark.
Crocs will eat other crocs quite happily.

Your pretty safe if the croc has chomped on an American tourist.
The taste puts them off humans.

I think those tour operators who teach crocs to jump out of the water after meat are crazy. I've been close enough in a boat to a big croc, and I do NOT want them to be jumping out of the water near me. I heard a story once about a fisherman who had a big croc jump into his boat after a barramundi he had just caught. The croc jumped in and the fisherman jumped out. What a choice - stay in the boat with the croc that you know about or jump into the water with the dozens that you don't know about ... yet!
