Looking for Susannah Downes/Heapy in 1871 please
She was christened in 1814 but didnt marry until 1869 when she was in her 50s.
In 1861 she was still unmarried and living with her brother:
1861. Whetstone Hole, Quarnford.
Samuel Downes 42. Farmer 11 acres.
Savannah Downes 44. Sister. Umn. (looks like Susannah).
John Downes 25. Nephew. Collier.
All born Quarnford.
and in 1881 she was a widow and living with her son and step daughter:
Angrack, Quarnford
