"completed" What good movies have you seen recently?

We rented out a very good dvd at the weekend.... called "Made in Dagenham"... about the women machinists who worked in the Ford factory, Dagenham and who went on strike in 1968.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.....well acted and felt very 'authentic' ... apart from half a dozen 'F' words, which seem to be in all movies now... ( I can't remember people using that word so much years ago?)
Don't know the name of the actress who played the lead but she was marvellous. Bob Hoskins and Geraldine James were also in it
Got me wondering what other movies you would all recommend?

Ooh! Now I want to see that. It never made it to the cinema here and I forgot about it.
I just watched the Magdalene Sisters from 2002, about a terrible "home" for wayward girls in Ireland. They used the girls as workers in a laundry which seemed to rake in money which was doubtless sent to the Missions or something similar. Geraldine McEwan was a terrific crazy nun.

Watched a brilliant DVD a couple of weeks ago - Meryl Streep - House of the Spirits thoroughly recommend - Five Stars

Seen the trailors for that one, sounds okay. Maybe I'll persuade my other half to go and see it! Other than that went to see The Kings Speech a few months back - that was good.
