Ok Staffies, in my search for Minnie Hanson (see the Barralet thread) I've been reduced to checking out each of the Hanson females born in 1845 in London/Middlesex as the info supplied in that thread suggests from census info that that was where she originated. Of the seven females I can find in FreeBMD two seem to have died in childhood:
Births Sep 1845 (>99%)
HANSON Lydia Jane Lambeth 4 224
FreeBMD
Deaths Mar 1851 (>99%)
HANSON Lydia Jane Lambeth 4 181

and
Births Sep 1845 (>99%)
HANSON Matilda Victoria Stepney 2 453
FreeBMD
Deaths Sep 1846 (>99%)
Hanson Matilda Victoria Stepney 2 345

One of two other possibles may also have died as there is
Births Jun 1845
HANSON Emma St Pancras 1 266

With further info at familysearch.org:
birth: 27 Feb 1845
residence: 1845 -London, England
parents: William Hanson, Mary
name: Emma Hanson
gender: Female
baptism/christening date: 15 Jan 1848
baptism/christening place: OLD CHURCH,SAINT PANCRAS,LONDON,ENGLAND
birth date: 27 Feb 1845
father's name: William Hanson
mother's name: Mary
indexing project (batch) number: C04793-5
system origin: England-ODM
source film number: 598171

and
Births Dec 1845 (>99%)
Hanson Emma St Giles 1 69

either of which may be the same person as
Deaths Mar 1849 (>99%)
Hanson Emma St Pancras 1 264

Which leaves
Births Sep 1845 (>99%)
HANSON Jemima Whitechapel 2 547

and
Births Mar 1845 (>99%)
Hanson Eliza Martha Brentford 3 21

and
Births Jun 1845 (>99%)
HANSON Emily Rebecca Kingston 4 186

as well as either of the two Emmas above.

The census info in the Barralet thread suggests that Minnie was born in Aldgate which was part of the Whitechapel district so my suspicions rest mostly with Jemima, but I can't find any more info on any of them in the sites available to me, nor of the William and Mary Hanson mentioned on familysearch.org.

Anyone fancy running with this for me?

Of course if Minnie lied about her age in the later census and was really born around 1825 then I'm really stuck.

Minnie can also be Ann. my partner had the same problem chasing one of her ancestors.

This is the one,

Minnie E Healey.

She was Minnie when she married.

She was always called Ann.

Sorry Jimmy, I'd missed that bit of the other thread somehow, which given that I'd answered your post seems more than a little strange; blame it on the old age, or the drink, or the drugs, or the weather, or the.....

Thanks again.
