This gets more confusing
I was going to get this birth certif but wanted just to check before I sent so I sent this
to the Regis office....
I only want to order it if the mother is Matilda Marston
or similar name.
Births Jun 1855
Baker Matilda W. Bromwich 6b 641
Father should be Joseph Baker toothe lovely folk at regis office sent me this....
Thank you for your email regarding the birth certificate for Matilda Baker.
Unfortunately we could only find one Matilda and neither of her parents matched the details provided.
My colleagues in the search team have also done a search a few years either side of 1855 and no other traces could be found.
Sorry to provide you with disappointing information, but I ultimately hope you find the entry you require as you continue your researchso where is that Matilda who is on the 1861?
is she regis under another name
