Hello from Canada

Hi Everyone,
Just introducing myself. My name is Tanya and I started working on my family tree after grandmother passed away about 3 years ago. She was very mysterious about her life and I have hit many roadblocks along the way since my father (her son) and aunt (her daughter) have also passed away. I inherited all the old family pictures and look forward to trying to put names to the faces and learning more about my family maybe even finding some living relatives.

Hello Wimble - and welcome to the Forum. How lucky you are to have inherited papers and photos. My mom is 92 and was the eldest of 7 children. One of the younger children inherited all the photos and keepsakes and although we have asked her many times, she won't make the effort to find them.

Glad to have another person on board who is in a similar time zone to me!
