ARC TBC..................tromans / nock

Post by g.s.d »

im trying to find out some more information on eli richard tromans born 1882 he was a miner and lived in brooklane old hill
He married a clara jane darby of new street in feb 1904 and had a daughter mary tromans in 1916.
I think eli died and clara remarried to daniel cornelius nock born 20 october 1880 they lived in trinity street old hill ,daniel worked in the steel tube works and died on the 12 april 1952, i think daniels father was silas nock a chainmaker and mother sarah ann nock (lowe) of reddall hill.
If anybody could fill in some gaps of other relatives i would be so grateful thank you

There is a marriage recorded for Daniel C Nock and Clara Tromans - June Qtr 1923 - Dudley District

This marriage doesn't show up on West Mids BMD so it probably took place in Rowley Regis - Rowley hasn't been indexed yet for that year on West Midlands BMD, so you will probably have to buy the certificate if you need it.

Hope this helps - Maggie

If Daniel and Eliza weren't married at St Giles - it's very likely they were married in Blackheath - these records are at Sandwell and haven't yet been included on the West Midlands BMD Index for 1923. If I have time today, in between dress fittings, I'll pop down to Sanwell Archives
