I think Daniel Woodhouse b. abt 1861, Derbyshire, here:

could be this Daniel on BCC, here:

Jumping to conclusions here... in 1861 around the time of Daniel's birth in "Wittington, Derby",
there is a Benjamin Morgan, aged 21, living with his parents in "New Whittington, Derbyshire". I can't see Rebecca anywhere on the 1861 census.

Ooh, I'm tempted, NL. Just a bit nervous about it. It looks likely ... but ... don't have anything that tips it over into definite. What do you think?

Still can't see anything definitive. But the more I look at it, the more I think that birthplace for Daniel clinches it.
