Unusual bequest or not, reading through a will my 3x great grandfather Stephen who lived in Upper Netherton was left a pig stye and a convienience!

Some people kept Pigs in their houses, there is one mentioned in Cradley.

A guy who lived in Hadley Street in Langley used to keep a horse in his backyard and when he took him out - used to bring him through the house. I remember seeing this not more than 20 years ago. He kept the cart in his front garden.

I can remember when we lived in Devon, in a terraced house that fronted straight onto the road (Click
here for pictures), taking a friends pony through the house to the back yard when she came to visit.
