Marriage: Amos Goode and Eliza Williams

A followup to my previous posting regarding the marriage of Amos Goode and Eliza Williams from Halesowen. I sent away for the marriage certificate of Amos GOULD and Eliza Williams on the off chance that it might be mine. This is the result:
Marriage: The Parish Church of Edgbaston, Warwick
27 August 1849 - Amos Gould - Full Age - Bachelor - Horse Dealer - Quinton - Father's name and profession: left blank
Eliza Williams - Full Age - Spinster ------- Edgbaston " " " " " "
Signed: Amos Gould's x Mark - Eliza Williams
Witnesses: David Smith - Sarah Smith's Mark
I. Spooner, Vicar
I was surprised that the details about the father's were blank.
Pleased to see "Horse Dealer" and "Quinton" because Amos GOODE was a horse dealer from Quinton.
The fact that Amos could not read or write explains the discrepancy in the name.
I phoned the Birmingham Registry Office and Mr Yates told me that I. Spooner was notorious for leaving ages and fathers off the record because he didn't approve of the registration.
I am 99% sure that this is the marriage I am seeking. Any ideas or suggestions as to what more I could do would be gratefully received.
