I can't find a marriage for them, searched between 1840 and 1890 and not there on Free BMD for Elizabeth Pugh or a Sarah Pugh & Joseph Hingley, maybe they just lived together and Elizabeth took his name.

Just read thru this again
So the marriage we started with could be our Elizabeth Hingley
father on that marriage is a nailer not a chainmaker
The other Elizabeth HIngley with sister Caroline has father Joseph Hingley a chainmaker
