Hello!

Hello! I am a new member located in the West Midlands with members of my family tree scattered all over the country, with some extended branches found in New Zealand, Australia, France and Canada. I have been researching since a child, after we were tasked with a family history project at school and then after being given a family bible from my maternal grandfather. This bible had handwritten entries going back to 1839, so a great start for what is now one of my hobbies.

Main surname interests - Brookes, Tuffield, Kilsby, Biddle, Pritchard, Denny, Ginger, Tipton, Clifton, Bissell, Taylor, Withers and I could go on. I have a public tree on ancestry.co.uk called Brookes & Tipton.

I hope that is OK for an introduction!

Regards

Sharon

Hello mallosa

I see you have an interest in Brookes - mine are from West Bromwich/Wednesbury with some in Nottinghamshire. What about yours?

Regards

Sharon

Thanks for the great welcome. The only problem now is finding more time to do research with another resource to keep tabs on! The demands of modern life . . . .
