Could someone do an 1861 look up for me please Trying to find the parents of Mary Ann Sutton c1839, John Sutton c1849, George H Sutton c1854 and Edwin Sutton c1860
Leek area Staffordshire Farming family
I have no name for the father though obviously Sutton and only the first name of the mother (Hannah)
I think Hannah may have died by this point so maybe there on the 1851census?

You could try the IGI Records for Derbyshire for their marriage, or, probably more accurate - send for a birth certificate for one of the children

I had a look on FamilySearch.org and there is a marriage for John Bestwick and Ann!!

Gender: Male Marriage: 08 JUL 1806 Alstonfield, Stafford, England

He married Ann SUTTON!! I'm hoping that Ann was not the sister of George Sutton senior as that would make George's son, George Sutton and his wife, Hannah Bestwick cousins!!!

It wouldn't be the the first time, a lot of cousins married.

I have everything I need for George now except his birth (or christening) and his death.
Also for Hannah Bestwick (Sutton) the only thing i'm missing is her death I think. I have all the censuses from 1841 to 1881 on which she is aged 66 so she is probably deceased by 1891 unless anyone can find her on that census.
