But this sort of rings a bell. I think there's another Annie Laura around the same time.

Hi NL,
I have nothing on this Parsons on my Parsons data base.
I do lot leave for Ireland until 30th and will be back on 6th January. It is not seasonal festivities but a family wedding and I am taking my three daughters and their husbands and my 7 grandchildren.

Could do with getting this on Connections... what do we think are these the parents?
need a marriage look up really on that Wm Tibbetts and parsons...or do we think this is the correct Ann Laura?

I also have this William Parson who married Ruth Trowman in 1808, previously marrying (26 Dec 1797, Rowley Regis) an Ann Hackitt and having children: Elizabeth (abt 1798), Mary Ann (abt 1799), Ruth (abt 1802, d. 1802), Emanuel (abt 1805, d.1806). Don't ask me where I got this from - lost in the mists of time.

Is the consensus ( is that how you spell it?) that we go with Cyrus as father?
If so I will add em...and will confirm via a marriage look up when I go Sandwell.

I have found Cyrus Parsons but not marriage to Ann Laura.
There are two Cyrus Parsons on record as sons of William Parsons & Ruth Trowmans one Cyrus born 1823 and no record of a marriage and one born 1825 who married a Mary Ann Potter on 27/4/1846, Clent. This would suggest first Cyrus died and new son was named Cyrus.
I have found details of Alexander Parsons son of Ezer Parsons and Sarah Davies and can trace this line back to main Parsons line
William Parsons married an Ann Hackett on 26/12/1797 St. Thom. Dudley and had four children before marrying Ruth Trowman on 12/11/1808.after death of Ann on 18/8/1808. Ruth and William had 8 children including the two Cyrus sons
I will fill in if I have time but will certainly do so when I return but will check what you have inserted .
William Parsons was son of William Parsons & Betty Willetts born 1738 RR which is already on bcc

Ok well I will check the Oldbury marriage ...for Wm Tibbetts and Annie Laura... her father should be this Cyrus
