*Archive?* From a different angle

I have been posting on roots and searching for my next ancestor in line and hopefully his parents. I will outline what I/we have so far in the hope that a fresh pair of eyes may be able help a little.
I am searching for my GG grandfather. Then hopefully to his parents.
I have identified him various censuses.
1901,1891 & 1881 has Joseph Tipping along with his wife Mary Ann Williams and children namely John my G grandfather. All living in Birmingham. Joseph's birthplace is noted as Upton upon Severn.
1871 & 1861 I find Joseph with parents William & Eliza residing in Upton upon Severn
Now things start to turn
I have Eliza and some children in Upton in both 1851 & 1841 censuses, but no William. The 1851 even states Eliza as
widow, but I think I have William on both censuses but in Marylebone, London
This I find puzzling, I have a christening on IGI for another of the children giving both Eliza and William as parents. The christening is in 1844 whereas Eliza is called a widow in 1851 census. I then find her again in 1861 with William
In trying to pin down Joseph I am struggling. I have a christening from IGI but it shows no father?
JOSEPH TIPPEN Christening: 01 SEP 1849 Upton On Severn, Worcester Mother: ELIZA TIPPEN
Regarding a birth index all I've come across so far is an un-named male but as yet no corresponding death index that I can see.
. Births Sep 1849 (>99%)
TIPPING Male Upton upon Severn 18 503
There is also a female un-named with the same index.

Regarding the widow bit -- this was sometimes a respectability thing when they had children but weren't living with the father.
I have a couple living apart in which he thinks he is married (living with his mother!) and she states widowed (living with the children)
Maybe William wandered off and then decided the grass was greener where he had come from -- the women would have had little option but to take back wayward husbands at that time

I would say that Joseph's parents William Tippin(g) and Eliza Bullock.
His grandparants are Thomas Bullock and Elizabeth (Betty) Handy.
His Great Grandfather is John Handy.
That was a quick look but should be enough for you to sort the rest out.
Eliza may claim to be a widow in 1851 if she was abandoned by Willaim for some years.

Many thanks for your "quick look".
The census results are the ones I have, apart from the grandparents record. I have also a couple of the christenings you have sourced. So thanks for the set
I notice that all the christenings name William as the father. That is all except the one I want to say it, Joseph's
Hopefully now with with Eliza's grandparents names I may be able to find a marriage somewhere.

Looking thru familysearch, Ancestry freebmd ect doesn't give me any hits at all for a marriage between a William Tippin(g) and Eliza Bullock or various other permutations. So I wonder if you could advise me on what/where is the best place to search next to try to source the details.

Not all parishes have been digitised.
Try BMSGH.

Forgive my ignorance, as I've only recently started. Am I right in thinking that I would need to visit Worcester Library and History Centre to search thru the films there.
Not a problem if so as I'm in Birmingham so not a major distance away.

Sometimes a visit is needed if the records are not digitised.
It looks like FamilySearch only have the Christenings for Powick so I think you would have to visit the archives to see the marriages.
