I'm from Preston in Lancashire and have so far traced my maternal lineage back to 1776 in Suffolk, but my paternal lineage is unknown after about 1898.
I'm English, and 1 sixteenth Irish. My family's known surnames are in my signature.

Forums need to be visited regularly by members not just to see if someone is helping them but also to see if they can help somebody else.
Forums should be living things not a graveyard of surnames and unknown, uncomunicating absent members!
