Due to increased solar flare activity of our sun, anyone north of england tonight has a chance of seeing the Aurora Borealis if the sky is clear, plus you will need to get away from light polution of the town to see them at there best

dont forget to take your camera, as i dont think we will get to see them too cloudy and post a picture

It's been overcast all day, but I'll keep my eyes open! I've never seen them in the flesh so to speak!!

Been out looking, but nothing visable :(
According to your link, the best is over now!
Overcast tonight, and even though we don't normally have very much light pollution (can quite often see the milkyway), we've a lot of snow, so it's really quite light outside.
I don't think I'm very much futher north than you are Pete - have you had any more luck?

Don't worry, when the big solar storms hit next year and you are without electricity for a few weeks I am sure everybody will get a chance to see them :P
