Had a look at the 1881 census....Sarah is not widowed.

1881 census looks to me Sarah is down as W, widowed.
Mar is used for married.
Looking under Sarah is George Butler married to her sister Isabella

Can another person have a look please at the 1881 census.

Looking at the census form on TheGenealogist (which has the best quality scans) I now agree, she was widowed.

Looks like an M for married but the others have "Mar" not just "M". There is another widow further down the page with the single letter which I suppose passes for a W.

I think this is the right family as he names his daughter Rosannah but I cant see how Hannah Price as witness fits in?
