Thankyou maths girl for putting the 1841 census clue on
I have been stumped for donkeys years with this problem
Censuses suggest he was born and christened in Warwickshire but this is a red herring
The clue in the 1841 census gives additional people Samuel and Sarah, these must be the parents
I had completely missed them previously
IGI gives
Birth: 09 MAY 1810
Christening: 13 SEP 1812 Halesowen, Worcester, England
26 Dec 1832
Halesowen St Johns register page 282 entry 846
John Johnson, Bachelor of this parish
Joannah Harris, Spinster of this parish
Witnesses - George Holmes, Esther Holmes

Hope this helps for JOHN JOHNSON
Parents of John Johnson - Samuel and Sarah Johnson
as suggested on 1841 Census - mathsgirl post
By looking for John Johnson with parents Samuel and Sarah Johnson IGI points to:-
John Johnson was christened at Halesowen St Johns on 13 Sep 1812 but was born 9 May 1810
see IGI to confirm this but I will be making a visit to the archives in Worcester to get the exact record
According to the census John Johnson was born in Warwickshire, it maybe true but doesn't mean he was christened there
Marriage - John Johnson marries Johannah Harris at Halesowen St Johns on 22 Dec 1822
see IGI to confirm this but I had been to the archives to get the record and have posted it
Johannah is sometimes called Hannah
Johns Family
Samuel 1832
William 1835
Andrew 1837
Emma 1841
Benjamin 1843
Rebecca 1846
Sarah 1848
Ann 1854
Eliza 1854
