We have traced our family back to Ireland about 1800 have found Tithe Applotment with the right names
The Tithes we have found are:
Patrick McGinniss Armagh, Beleek, Drumheriff 1834
John McGinniss Armagh, Beleek, Drumheriff 1834
Widow ??? McGinniss Armagh, Beleek, Drumheriff 1834
There is also
Bernard McGinnis Armagh, Eglish, Maydown 1833
After this we find them (well Bernard & Patrick) in Cornwall 1841 census
So my questions are
1. Any ideas on how can I confirm that they are my family
If not then
2. Are there any suggestions on the best way we could possibly progress.
We do have Patricks death cert which states he was born in Armagh.
We would greatly appreciate any feed back (we are completely lost with this one)

You could try here

Its very hard tracing people in Ireland because there are few records left and you need to know so much to get other information.

RootsIreland is much better after they introduced the advanced search for some counties.
You hard work is done....as you know the town and county.
