Anyone have Allen(boatmen)?

Job Allen (boatman) father Thomas(boatman)
Job wed Eliza Whitehouse in 1842 at Dymock Gloucs.
I believe my Whitehouses originated from Staffs/Worcs areas,but were in Gloucs/
Hereford areas 1841-51.Could this have been the case with Allens?
