Sarah Sandall (b. 1843 Kettlebrook, Warwickshire) married Michael Atkins in 1868 in Tamworth, they moved to Fenton near Stoke Upon Trent and had two children Mary (b.1870 Fenton) and William (b.1873 Fenton).
Michael died in 1 May 1885 (found on probate records).
Subsequently I have found a possible census for 1891 for Sarah and the children (transcribed incorrectly as Moore on Ancestry):
272, Uttoxeter Road, Stone, Longton, Staffs
SMITH, Sarah Wife Married F 47 1844 Kettlebrook Warwickshire
ATKINS, Mary Daughter Single F 21 1870 School Teacher Assistant Fenton Staffordshire
ATKINS, William Son Single M 18 1873 Solicitors Clerk Fenton Staffordshire
I have been unable to find a marriage for Sarah, either as Atkins or Sandall.
Can anybody help

Thanks Mally,
I was obviously a bit unclear,
I have Sarah's first marriage, and am sure about that as they have Sarah's father living with them on a later census. What I'm missing is the marriage to "Mr Smith", The cenus in 1981 matches as far as the kids go, and also for Sarah, I'd like to confirm that I'm on the right track, but I can't find Sarah in 1901 or 1911 to help find out who Mr Smith was!

The only one I can see that fits,
1901. Cottage, Baxterley, Warwickshire.
William Smith 65. Carter at Colliery. Baxterley, Warwickshire.
Sarah Smith 57. Kettlebrook, Warwickshire

Looking at google maps if it's her, she's moved back to the area she grew up in!

She's Smith in 1891, so assuming she's telling the truth and was actually married, we have a window of 6 years. I'd been looking in Staffordshire as she was at Longton in 1891, but have widened the search to Warwickshire now!

I can't seem to find a marriage for Sarah and William - can anyone help. I've been assuming she'd be Sarah Atkins, but I've looked at Sandall too.

It does look like a lost cause - I've starting trawling through the probate records in the hope that one of Sarah's known children is executor (there are way too many Sarah Smith's as widow on the probate records!)

There is a probate record for Michael Atkins in 1885.

I've found that one, that's when I started looking more for the kids than the parents, but as yet no further records that are convincing
