Most of the Christmas Leftovers have gone so today is the day. I'm trying to get a few sponsors for Southern Lurcher Rescue so any offers of encouragement welcome!

That would be fabulous NL- thank you very much.
My goal is challenging but realistic- to loose 14lbs - I promise not to cheat!
In the event of success- you could send a cheque payable to Southern Lurcher Rescue either direct to the charity address which I could give or c/o myself.

Hi Jo,
That is very kind of you. They are only a small charity although their support has been growing quickly in their first couple of years. All dogs are fostered out to carers before being rehomed so none of them end in up in kennels.
All dogs are neutered , chipped, wormed, vaccinated before homing , not to mention other necessarry vet treatment for individuals who sometimes arrive in a shocking state. Any donations will be very well spent.

Thanks for reminding me-that's just what I need. Chugging along at a tortoise's pace but have knocked off 6 packets of lard so far -ok maybe just water but scales say 3 lbs less.
The Christmas shortbread and crisp supply have also been finished last week so less temtation
