hobbies

What do you all get up to when not researching?
Personally im a keen if not very good fruit and veg grower and also make my own home brewed wine and beers.

As you can see, there's a group of very dedicated genealogists on here!
Me, I read, do a bit of embroidery, and garden when the ground's not frozen! :P

Oh yeh, and sometimes I have to work. :roll:

I did some last nite!!
that port went to my head and I picked the book up
got it the wrong way to start with so thought I had it in Sweedish! :oops:

But anyway I am up to where the old lady who died said about it being foreigners

bit slow aint it!

I think that that horse is imp!
I think that it is someone they have known!

Oh Rob - you would never iron a crinoline - you should steam it ..

That has been for many years an item of discussion amongst the intelligentsia!! The Steam Iron or Steamer?
Some people,myself included,prefer to use a steam iron which differs slightly from a steamer.
A steamer is also acceptable for crinoline dresses but the the conouseur knows and feels the difference.

You'll never get a crinoline on an ironing board .... believe me - I am a connoisseur ....... It can only be steamed

My habit has taken over! :shock:
I dont have time to do anything else!

I used to like cross stitch.
Making things from stuff you would throw away :roll:
Anything "crafty"

I do love to be in the garden, but only when its warm mind.

May be you can give gardener some tips on, oh cant think! Is it square foot thingy? I think it went quite well especially being in Iceland and all the ash.
There was a thread on gardening a little while ago.
