Archive lookup v gro marriage cert

Does the actual marriage certificate contain more info than what is available from the archive?
My reason for asking is a lookup that Antie Em kindly did for me, all the names match up, but the residence just states West Bromwich. I'm wondering if the certificate will tell me more. The actual address may confirm that I'm on the right track, rather than going off on a tangent.

It is the same info in the archives.
But you are always best to check yourself via a certificate or copy from the archives.
You can send for a copy from Sandwell registry office or the GRO

I prefer to get a copy from the local registry office.
But if I look the marriage up at that archives I know the info will be the same.

Hello Snoopysue,

Have a look at my comments on another thread which was started off by mentalben.

In your case, it may not have anymore than West Bromwich.
