Hi All

Does anyone know a geneologist in Leicestershire. I have been tracing my family tree for about a year and have come to a real stand still with my great grandad and i would like some help. Thought if i could show someone where i am with it they could point me in the right direction.

Thanks
Angie

Hi Both

Please see all of the details below. I live out near Ashby de la Zouch and just thought that someone who had more experience of family trees than me might be able to help me answer some of the missing questions i have about my great grandad as i really dont know where to look next as he seems to have vanished.

Edward Archer Turner b. 30.9.1880
Son of Thomas George Turner (Blacksmith) b.1855& Susan Cooper (Publican) b.1847
Edward Married Doris Bickford Wilkes 9.4.1927, Doris died 30.12.1928
Siblings
George R J Turner b.1878 Henlow
Eva M L Turner b.1878 Henlow
Beatrice Turner b.1880 Henlow
Emily Turner b.1883 Henlow
Mabel M Carter (Step sister) Henlow
Leslie Carter (Step Brother) Henlow
1881 census - Main Road, Biggleswade, Henlow
1891 census - shows he lived at Five Bells Inn, High Street, Henlow, Bedford
1901 census - shows his father still lived at Five Bells Inn, High Street, Henlow, Edward Archer Turner is living as a baorder in Ringwood Hampshire
I think his father married for a 2nd time to Sarah in 1881. How do i find out where he lived after the above address and where he went after Doris Died in 1928
Thanks Angie

Hi

I dont think the details from 1911 are correct, he had a son with Doris in 1926, married her in 1927 and she died in 1928. As far as i know he didnt marry before her but i could be wrong.

Hi

I dont think the 1911 details are the Edward that i am looking for as i think his mother was Susan. His father did marry again to someone called Sarah but she wasn't Edwards mother

Hi

I have checked the wedding cert and it states that he was a batchelor

His birth cert says that his middle name is Archer. I guess it could be miss typed in the 1911? I dont believe that he was married before but not sure
