I'm trying to tie up the loose ends on Rebecca Jeavons (jevons).
Here's what I know:
Born 9 Jan 1850 in Aston, Warwickshire.
Parents: Daniel Jevons (Moulder), Hannah (formerly Aston). Info from Birth cert.
1861 Census: (Jevens on image - ancestry better than FMP)
SEVENS, Daniel Head Married M 47 1814 Iron Moulder Bradley Staffordshire
SEVENS, Hannah Wife Married F 46 1815 Bradley Staffordshire
SEVENS, William Son Unmarried M 23 1838 Iron Moulder Bradley Staffordshire
SEVENS, John Son Unmarried M 17 1844 Iron Moulder Bradley Staffordshire
SEVENS, Rebecca Daughter F 11 1850 Scholar Birmingham Warwickshire
SEVENS, Daniel Son M 6 1855 Scholar Dudley Worcestershire
Daniel and family move to the Birmingham area around 1850, they are originally from the Sedgley area.
Although Rebecca is born in Aston, I can't find the family anywhere in 1851. Rebecca is not with the rest of the family in 1871;
JEAVONS, Daniel Head M 56 1815 Staffordshire
JEAVONS, Hannah Wife F 55 1816 Staffordshire
JEAVONS, Daniel Son M 16 1855 Staffordshire
JEAVONS, John Son M 27 1844 Staffordshire
JEAVONS, Ann Daughter-In-Law F 25 1846 Warwickshire
JEAVONS, John Grandson M 6 1865 Warwickshire
JEAVONS, Ellen Granddaughter F 4 1867 Warwickshire
JEAVONS, Sarah Granddaughter F 2 1869 Warwickshire
By 1875 the family are living in the Trinity Road area of West Bromwich (Daniels death cert) and still no sign of Rebecca.
I have a feeling she's dead by this point, but can find no trace of her.
Can anybody help?
