Just A post to inform every one that Rowley Regis Online is back and active again, But not in the old format as a genealogy / local forum it was.

The site seem to be set up as a Community web site where you can access information reguarding the local services and whats on in the local community

There is a photo section via Flicka, Facebook link and twitter link

And Matt hasnt forgot about about all you mad Genealogist as there a interesting bookstore via links where you may obtain book about Rowley Regis and the Black Country in general, Nice selection too (over 60 most with a brief discription)

From all the old RRO members Matt, good luck with the site

That map of Rowley with Rowley Village at it's centre can't be right!!
Will Matt read this? the border of Rowley Regis was Whiteheath. There used to be a signpost well it was like a milestone on the left hand side of the Oldbury Road just before you got to the Gate Inn (the old Gate).
