Anyone going to one?
Do you have to watch out for the Boss and his wandering hands!
Do you have to much to drink and then wonder why your p45 is on
your desk the next day!
I used to dread them
those and family weddings

Ours are (nearly) always boring. Either that or I never notice
The most exciting thing that happened was a few years ago, when one of the doctors (who nobody liked 'cos she thourght she was a brain surgeon, was only just out of medical school, and was lazy to boot) was after one of the porters. Only thing was, he was gay - but he played along! Some people thourght she knew, too.
Apparently there used to be more scandal in the late 70's early 80's.

Back before the government got stingy, one of the perks of being the public service was having Tea Ladys pushing around carts of assorted teas and scones and biscuits and serving up a good brew right at your work table.
Before e-mail and the Internet they were the fastest and most rliable source of gossip and scandal.

I used to work for a holiday company in Birmingham and we had some great Christmas parties. The company paid for everything and we usually had them at the Botanical Gardens. Overseas staff were invited and it was lovely to talk to people we hadn't seen for a year. Can't remember ever going to one I didn't enjoy.

We were at one at the weekend, not an office one but we went to York Hilton and there was a party thing on. We had to drive as there were no trains.
It was really good fun although many couldnt get there.
Daft dances etc, just good fun.
