I found a possible John Page Darleston 1851. The Adams and Homer are too common to call, and Hamlett can be spelt a dozen different ways:-

Gads Cross Darleston
John Page 41 Miner Darleston
Mary Wife 52 Darleston
Joseph Taylor 18 App Miner Darleston

HTH from Linell.

This particular census for West Bromwich was written out in pencil and some of it was also damaged. They have the film at Smethwick Archives, I have seen it and it is really difficult to read, so I think some of it was never transcribed. I'll have a look in the census index at Smethwick next time I go. Can you add it to the Smethwick lookups and put my name by it please - I might be going this week.
