John Worrall age 23/24 unmarried born Walsall, please, parents and siblings living in Birmingham but he isn't with them. He was a brass filer aged 13 in 1861 and married in Edgebaston in 1880.

have you got him in 1881?
did he marry an Emma Bates?
There is a John Worrall in sutton place B'ham a brass worker. b 1843 b Warwickshire.
Do you know if he was married previously?

there is one in 1871 puddler at forge lodger living sandbach cheshire. puts down from W'ton b 1843.
Have you got the marriage certi is he a widwr on that?

or there is one living with bro in law a George Lawson a brewer with wife Ann M
Did he have a sister ann m?
that one is the same area as the one married to Emma Bates - St Thomas B'ham.

Hi Northern Lass . Thanks for info. He is married to Emma Bates as on 1881 census, I have their marriage cert, but I can't find out where he was in1871. He was a batchelor when he married Emma in 1880 in Edgebaston. Any ideas? Dumblonde

What is George's fathers name on the marriage cert, there is this one that fits the age.

JOHN FREDERICK WORRALL.
Birth, 24 SEP 1844.
Christening, 26 DEC 1848, Saint Phillips, Birmingham, Warwick,
Parents:
WILLIAM WORRALL.
MARY.

Thanks for that Jimmy but I think we have got our wires crossed. I have found John Worrall's birth cert, he was born in Walsall Foreign 18/9/1847 - I just wanted to find out where he disappeared to in 1871, before he got married. I hope that I haven't put you to too much trouble. I must have been having a blonde day or summat!
