I'm trying to find out about Sarah wife of Thomas J Lloyd b.1831.
My family records have her as Sarah Cartwright, while other family trees on Ancestry for example have her as Sarah Winchurch or Sarah Phillips.

Can anyone throw any light on the evidence on this one way or the other?

I have all the census info listed, thanks for that.
I had missed the Winchurches lodging in the 1861 census.

It looks as though I need a birth certificate for Josiah or one his siblings to complete the picture.

I have Betsy pencilled in as Elizabeth born 1853, Mary's sister.

Hi David

you know you can send off to the local registry offices at Sandwell
and at Dudley and it only takes a few days if you are in the UK

They are very good and are £9 as against £9.25 at GRO
and you can print off a form from the wmbsgh
