Weve just had sleet here so far but bitter cold.
Just seen Newcastle on tv and looks loads there
Forecast doesnt look good for a lot of places. I dont like the cold or snow

Yes keep it Peterd we don't want it Yorkshire even ithough my other half got is snow shovel waiting outside the door.

No harm being prepared Annie
Not looking good for North Yorkshire Moors so he may well right!
Going to get my bulk of salt in before it all sells out!

snow wow how exciting is that-calm down it won't happen here- we had our snow flurry of the decade last year- I was away and missed it typical!

the grass has vanished, can still see bits of the raod, water proof and shovel in the boot for work tommorow,

Wellies, spade and old car mats (to get a grip on tyres) will be out too!
Last year the kids were so pleased with it... then so fed up!
I used to live on the Isle of Wight, smallest amount of ice or snow the whole Island closed down!
Gardener will have to give us some tips!
