From what I saw when we met, if you lose 3 stone, there won't be a lot left.

Not very up on the news these days - so who owns Longbridge now - not the big 4 that bought it for a peppercorn hopefully

We have a Golf, about four years old, no air con, no heated seats - but we like it. It's got cruise control though and I love that!!
Always liked the idea of a little two seater, but pratcicality always won out. An MG A or MGB would be good. My husband likes the BMW Z3 - and I must admit all the mod cons are attractive!
In an ideal world an renovated e-type with all the mod cons added.
Though the humoristic side of me has always liked the idea of a Morris 1000 with a really fast engine in, so that I could pull away from all those men in their fast cars at the lights!!

(Yes I know it's a bit like putting a jet engine in a biplane!!)
Anyway anything "expensive" is probably out of the question as the danes put this extra tax on cars - the saying goes "buy one car, pay for three". No way am I buying a car that's worth nearly as much as a house!!!

My favourite car I had in 1968 was a Mini Cooper S with a Minichenti interior. With wife and 2 kids it was a blow to go to Weymouth !

My dad used to get him and mom and us 4 kids into his Ford Pop - about 12 hours to get to St Ives - you can get to America in less time these days.
