Hi everyone,
I'm new on this site and im not sure if this is in the right place,

I have a 3rd great grandmother Jane Churchill 16 Feb 1847 - 25 Nov 1914, these dates are correct from a family bible, her father is Daniel Weller birth, 1832. I have no mother to Jane and no Wife to Daniel.
Jane Married Charles Weller dob 1843-1889, this is a family thats never moved from Hailey Oxfordshire, and still live in witney today.

i have the 1851 census and Jane lived with her father and grandparents Joseph Churchill and Francis Brooks ( Fanny ) at the age of 4 years old, but no mother in the record.
If anyone could help it would be much appreciated,

sorry annie Daniel was churchill , there is a daniel churchill weller later in the tree sorry, they doubled up on the two names,

When is he born Daniel Churchill?
and where?

i have the same marriage log of 3a 759, am i going to have to go to the records office in oxford to actually find out? i have never done that before, worried about getting lost in there,

Daniel was born 1832 in Hailey oxfordshire,

Does it say in the Bible that she is his daughter? or are you making that assumption from the census ?

Have you tried Oxfordshire Family History Society ,they are very helpful and gave me lots of help with my ancestors from Witney, but you will enjoy going to the archives and finding them your self it's a good feeling.
