Isn't Betsy a sometime abbreviation for Elizabeth?

Yes it is, but I have had Elizabeth and Betsey also being in the same family in my tree in the past.

I have altered her dob as she is b abt 1836 on 1861 census

is there a bapt cos that could be her on 1841
