Hi, I've been researching my family tree and am looking for any Grafton information. Francis William Grafton (1846 - 1919)Parents Martin(1815 - 1888) & Jane (1816-1888)Grafton. Also wife of Francis, Elizabeth (1850-?) I have some cencus information on them all but no maiden names for Elizabeth or Jane and no date of death for Elizabeth. Also can't find any further info on Martin Grafton family. All based in Warwickshire - Birmingham, Edgebaston and Kings Norton area so far.Any help would be great as I think I'm going round in circles! Thanks, Anne

Here's a start
1911 Census - Manresa Vernon Road Edgbaston
GRAFTON, Francis Head Married M 63 Carpenter , born Birmingham, Warwickshire
GRAFTON, Elizabeth Wife Married 37 years F 61, born Leamington, Warwickshire
GRAFTON, Margaret Daughter Single F 35 School Teacher , born Bham Warwickshire
GRAFTON, Rose Daughter Single F 25, born Bham Warwickshire
GRAFTON, Philip Son Single M 29 Draughtsman , born Bham Warwickshire
Which other census info do you need ?
There is a marriage in Dec Qtr 1871 for Francis William Graftonand Elizabeth Shelvoke or Elizabeth Geary. Unfortunately before 1911, the names on marriages weren't linked, so you have the choice of maybe a couple of names from the GRO page. I have checked the births and there is an Elizabeth Shelvoke born Sept Qtr 1849 in Birmingham. I can't see a birth around this time for Elizabeth Geary - but you will probably need the marriage certificate to confirm this.
I can't see a death registration for Elizabeth in Warwickshire county.
Let me know what else you need
Maggie

Thanks so much, that's given me loads to go on. The surname Geary is definate as I found an old "autograph" book belonging to my great aunt with beautiful drawings and paintings in it and 2 where signed Geary! I'm off on the Geary trail, probably need more help soon - you guy's are good at this!
