Brickwalls

In Bugle last week I noted a letter from a lady from New Zealand who was interested in contacting anyone with connection to Hinds family of Oldbury.
I have had a brickwall on that side of family about 1891 Census as I could not make connection to previous generation without access to that Census Detail.
My new found relative solved the brickwall by inserting surname HAMAS instead of Hinds and found Thomas William Hinds aged 4 and family in 1891 and not only solved Brickwall but filled a lot more gaps.
It just goes to show if you cannot find a missing Census year it is necessary to use more than the odd letter of surname to search.
