Youngest is going "steady" with kid from school.

I just found out he was warned away from one of her friends by an angry father who reckons he was "A hormone with two legs and about eight arms"

He is going to pick up youngest for a date this afternoon and I am wondering how to get my point across.

I thought that dicing carrots and cucumbers with a very sharp knife whilst he is waiting for her in the living room might be effective.

I have an excellent book called "The World of the Castrati: The History of an Extraordinary Operatic Phenomenon" that I might leave on the coffee table.

Isn't it funny how fathers with teenage daughters turn from wolfs to sheep dogs

We are terrified our "little girls" might meet the same time of boy we were

just tell him you expect him to behave like a gentleman as you wouldnt like to tell him about the conciqences if he dosent

I've got three daughters,well four really,and i commiserate with the father who called Marky's son a hormone.
He probably didn't mean it really but boys from 12 years onwards only have one thing on their minds and its not genealogy!!
What is typical is that you Mark have now to prove to the father that you're really an intelectual by leaving trendy books on the coffee table????

And the book is fascinating. I always wondered why somebody would volunteer to have their wedding tackle butchered.

I do read a wide range of books. Nothing better than wandering around a discount book store and just buying what looks interesting without worrying about genre or author.

That is why I love my e-reader. It has thousands of books on it and I just hit the random button and see what pops up

I'd go with the carrots - the book's going to be way above his level, his brains being somewhere other than his head!!
