Just been out

and 1.00 for extra with bacon and cheese
chips in a very very small bowl
and get this.....a jar of...I though jam...

turned out to be tomato sauce
how posh is that!
what is wrong with a ketchup bottle or bowl of tomato sauce
not impressed!

And how many people are in there already - if it's quiet then there's usually a reason.
As for the price I'd say it depends on the burger - we were in germany a few weeks ago, and in terms on the quality/price ratio it was way up on the price side (and they didn't take visa, so the men were sent off to find a cash machine which promptly ate one of the cards!!)
Our local restaurant serves both a la carte, set menu's and good café style food - their burger is to die for. Home made burger bun, decent beef, loads of filling bacon, cheese and really good thick cut chips (not those skinny french fries

). We pay about £10, service is spot on and doesn't take too long ( and it's within walking distance, so nobody has to stay sober

). The quality/price ratio is about 1:1
