I have forgotten the number of times I've started to 'chase my ancestors' and given up, I have trouble getting past my Dad which is a pity when my Mam's line has been traced back I believe over a thousand years. If you want help why dont you put the names on the General board and we can have a look. See if we can help?

If its the Black Country are there is a section of its own for that.

This section is if you want to go at it yourself --If you give some basic details one of the "experts" will try to guide you through finding something out for yourself -- pointing you in the right direction.

If you just want to get going and don't mind if someone else finds some of the missing links then try the general discussion/Black Country discussion sections. -- then hope that it is not one of those total dead ends!
