Hi I hope I am posting to the right place.

I need someone to help double check my findings, I have found that a thread of my family had 13 children.

Henry Skitt 29 Jun 1871 & Mary Ann Skitt nee Proctor 1871

The parish is St Stephens, Portobello, Willenhall

Children
Emily Skitt 1892/93
Harriet Skitt 1/4/1894 - on census
Eliza Skitt 1896 - on census
Sarah Ann Skitt 19/4/1898 - on census
Alfred Skitt 1899 - on census
Harry Skitt 1901 - GGrandfather
Arthur Skitt unsure
John Skitt 30/4/1906
Earnest Skitt 16/7/1907
Albert Skitt 16/10/1908
William Skitt 13/3/1911
Fred Skitt 28/12/1912
Joesph Edward Skitt 31/5/1914

I got this information a number of years ago but the more I look at it the more I question it, 13 is some going, I'm wondering if I may have merged two families together. I live along way from the records centre now so can't check the younger ones on the census records.

Any information would be greatly accepted.

Hi Dan no you are fine and in the right place for asking for a Census check...I am sure we can help you

Just want to ask everyone to put before their title in the subject - a key to what they require ie if a Census put CENSUS- Civil regis put CIVIL(BMD) and Parish Registr put PR that way we instantly know what resource you are after

Ok Dan looked on the 1901 census and this lot are yours...

no Sarah Ann you say she is on census? but if she is born Sarah Ann Skitt 19/4/1898 - on census then she wouldnt be on the 1891 and she isnt on the 1901 so if she is theirs she is either elsewhere or died....you would need the birth and say you only want it if mothers maiden name is Proctor same with this lot...

-Arthur born???? not on 1901

And all the ones b 1906-1908 get the birth but only want it if mothers name is proctor.

this one just outside of the mothers name on so again need birth cert

As Nl says, the latest census available on Ancestry so far is 1901 so you would need birth records for anyone after this time.
