Grand Final Draw

We have only ever had two draws in our Australian Rules Football Grand Final in its 110 year history.
Today was the third.
The 100,000 at the match and the ten million watching from home have lost their voices after yelling for the last couple of hours.
But we will have to get our voices back for the rematch next week.
My nephew just rang and said they are heading straight from the M.C.G to their club's ground to queue for tickets.
I think the other 100,000 at the ground are doing the same.

Couples who have their wedding this Saturday are a bit upset at the Grand Final rematch.
Lots of guests are now going to the football or watching it on TV instead of attending the weddings.
One bloke even had his Best Man pull out because he wants to go to the football.
I reckon its easy. You move the ceremony to half time and just setup some big screen in the reception area

Not much of a best man then is he!
The final presumably is held every year (albeit not often a rematch), but that wedding only happens once!
If it was my wedding I'd be wee off if people suddenly started cancelling, but I regard them as being selfish, and not the sort of friends I'd want! Shows where their priorities lie all too clearly!

The two teams involved, Collingwood and St Kilda, have the most fantical supporters in the League.
Their life revolves around "footy" and even though there is a Grand Final each year, it has been 20 years since Collingwood won and 44 years for St Kilda.
The idea of missing the game is unthinkable to these fans.

And everyone in Victoria who isn't an actual died-in-the-wool Collingwood supporter is barracking for St. Kilda.
