Hi everyone!
We are Roger and Chris Dingley, living in Ascot.
We have been researching the family for nearly 20 years . However there have been many gaps in our efforts as work/ family/ travels have halted the searches.
As well as Dingley we have info on the following:
Corsons and Ritchies in Birmingham (with Scottish links)
Russells from Cheslyn Hay ( and Harbourne)
Huffadines and Stokers in Staffordshire ( Willenhall)
Faulks in Leicester and Uppingham area
Brights in Humberstone , Leicester.
The Dingley family is descended from William Dingley 1755 and Nancy Priest
I now face the task of trying to move my records on 1994 software from my PC to my apple mac!! Any tips would be really gratefully received!.
Also although I have a few details from Parish records for a couple of lines, I haven't yet delved far into the 18th/17th centuries so will need to learn more about how best to tackle searches in various County/parish archives.
It's good to know there are many of us exploring - its so absorbing isn't it!
We'll look forward to helping and sharing in searches!
Best wishes
Chris
