Popes visit

Well he is coming to Birmingham
anyone going to see him

he will be in his pope mobile, sounds like a huge event, Wolvie is a bit of a lapsed Catholic
but he might have a wander over!

A friend of mine is going up to Glasgow to see him.

To be honest, I can't really see the point. I'm also a lapsed Catholic, but I really can't see the attraction in it all. My mum once had an audience with the Pope, and she didn't seem too impressed, so I can't imagine seeing him from a distance as he passes by will be anything special.

I had Catholic mates as a kid and i've always been aware of The Pope.I remember Pope Pius the 100 dying in 1958. If i was a Catholic i think i would try to see him at least once in my lifetime something like i suppose Muslims travelling to Mecca.
