I have very nearly inserted the remote control on the new recorder wotsit where the sun don't shine in Wolvie!!
He has replaced the old recorder, which hasn't worked properly for ages, he summoned the courage to take it back to the shop!
So I have had to learn how to operate this one now!
Now ok I can follow instructions but when he says click on a for information
I think he has got a screw loose!
so I say a for information?
do you mean i for information
he says...that is what I just said
but a northern a and midlands i sound the same!!
he does my head in!!

You should sling the recorder NL and get Sky+ Even I can work that when I manage to get hold of the remote control.

Wot you doing with the remote, NL???
I've just assumed that all remote controls are superglued to a masculine fist.

Not in our house!
If anything has to be recorded my other half only sets the recorder if I'm not at home!
That being said we have a fancy all in one remote that is totally his domain, in terms of setting it up. (It really is good - with one button I can tern on the tv and dvd and I don't have to change between the components if I want to turn up the sound on the tv and then fast forward on the dvd player)
