Please can anyone help me to find these people who emigrated to New South Wales in Australia. They were Clara and Reuben David Thompson,They were both from Quarry Bank and married in Halesowen in 1883.She died in Newtown ,NSW Australia in 1890 aged 25.There was 1child-Elsie May Thompson 1889-1939.She married in 1921 to -William Balthazar Streckfuss=1881-1936.Elsie died in Canterbury NSW in Dec 1939.
Elsie and William had a daughter Joyce Marjorie Streckfuss born in 1922 and she died in 1962 aged 40 years.
I have ancestry and findmypast but do not know where to look for info about their life in OZ.

In Ancestry you will find them via the Electoral Roles.

From them you can get their address and occupation.

For instance Elsie May Streckfuss is living at 9 La Mascotte Avenue, Concord and her job is Home Duties. Her hubbie is an Order Man. He does not use his middlename.

Find My Past will let you find their embarkation information.

Ancestry should let you find their entry into Australia.

If you can't find an entry in the new Aussie BMD on ANcestry let me know. They do not cover all the records I have.

The Aussie WW1 and WW2 records are available online.

This is a brilliant site for finding them in the Newspapers.

They left England before 1890 so you will not find their departure on FMP.

BMD records in Victoria can be ordered and retrieved online.

All other states you can order online but have to wait for snail mail.
